If you'd decided on the Enrollment Program Workflow option in Kangarootime (see Choosing an Enrollment Workflow), you will need to create a program option for each class/fee structure available at your center(s). Parents will then select a group (e.g. Infant Programs), and then a Program (e.g. Infant Class Part Time) and request enrollment in that program.
Table of Contents:
- Creating enrollment groups in Kangarootime
- Charging a separate application fee per each enrollment group
To create an enrollment group in Kangarootime:
- Select Enrollment
- Select Programs
- Select the Program Groups tab
- Enable program groups by switching the Turn Groups On toggle
- At the top of your screen, select Create Program Group
- Provide a name & description for this group (e.g. Name: Infant Programs. Description: Please choose from this list of programs if your child is 6 weeks to 12 months)
- Enable the switch Available for enrollments to ON
- Select the program options you'd like to include in this group
- Hit Save
You may want to use the application fee option (one fee per application/family, as opposed to one fee per child/spot). When using Program Groups, you can elect to charge an individual application fee for each program group.
For example, a parent enrolling in Fall 2024 care (Group A) and Summer 2024 care (Group B) would pay the application fee for Group A, AND the application fee for Group B. By default, our system charges one application fee regardless of the number of groups.
To charge a separate application fee per group:
- Select Enrollment
- Select Programs
- Select the Program Groups tab
- Enable program groups by switching the Turn Groups On toggle
- Enable separate application fees per group by switching the Charge Separate Application Fees Per Group toggle to ON
