Tuition Growth
Where can you grow revenue through smarter tuition and discount adjustments?
View opportunities by school or by class, each with summary tiles, a bar chart, and a detailed table. Use the Gross Tuition % and Discount % what-if sliders to model adjustments and instantly see the projected Δ Revenue across every school and class, ranked by opportunity size so the most impactful conversations rise to the top.
Key table columns: Net Tuition/Wk, vs Business Avg, Discount %, and Enrolled , make it easy to spot schools charging below average or running higher-than-typical discounts. Use the Percentile ≤ slicer to narrow your focus to the top opportunities.
Enrollment Growth
Where can you grow revenue by filling open seats or opening new classes?
Each section pairs two tables. The Utilization table surfaces capacity and Δ Revenue by school, showing open spots, absent students, and room to grow. The Waitlist table shows where demand already exists — how many families are waiting and how many viable new classes that waitlist could support.
Set all three what-if sliders (Gross Tuition %, Discount %, and Enrollment Change %) to model a combined scenario. The bar chart layers Booked, Waitlisted, Max Roster, and Absent so you can see capacity and demand at a glance.
In the By Class section, the Waitlist Opportunity by Age Band table breaks this down further, showing exactly which age groups at which schools have enough waitlisted families to justify opening new classes or expanding enrollment.

Attendance Roster
Within the School module, print out your attendance rosters either for the current week or in advance to make sure you always have a paper copy on hand!
Student Profiles Export
Easily download all the student profile information licensing requires from the Student menu in Kangarootime. The PDF includes student information, Health and Wellness, Immunization records, Contact information, document uploads to the Students section and the Families Accounts section, along with custom data fields.
School Groups
If your summer programming assigns specific staff members to group(s) of children, then School Groups can help organize the Point of Care experience, so staff members can focus on the children assigned to them.
Name to Face/Care Tracking
Maintaining strict safety and supervision protocols are vital to the success of daily childcare operations. Make sure staff members are performing the Name to Face action in Point of Care to ensure all children are accounted for in accordance with licensing requirements. To keep tracks of name to face actions (care checks) and group moves, refer to the Activity dashboard via KT School.
Billing Reporting Reset
Stay on top of your billing and payments using these sun-sational reports found within Kangarootime's Insights module!
- Billing Reconciliation - Provides a comprehensive overview of billing activity, helping to monitor the status of each bill issued to your families; identifying any outstanding or unresolved balances. Get in the habit of checking this report in a cadence that matches your business’ billing cycles.
- Account Summary - Provides a comprehensive view of financial activity across accounts, empowering Kangarootime billing administrators to monitor account balances and quickly check tuition charges, credits, and payments in bulk without having to click through each account’s profile.
- Accounts Receivable - Offers a clear and detailed view into the collection performance and outstanding balances across a business. By tracking unpaid amounts and analyzing age of debt, this report supports targeted collection efforts.
