Kangarootime distinguishes family accounts by their enrollment status: Future, Active, or Inactive. These statuses help schools/centers with enrollment management and staffing decisions.
Utilizing the List Options filter within the Families Accounts or the Billing Accounts page, individual statuses can be viewed. Setting the Account Status to All clears the filter. Accounts may be hidden from the list entirely by closing it. To learn more about hiding or closing an account, please see our help article, How to Close Accounts.
Future Accounts:
Accounts with a Future status indicate that the students associated with the account are enrolled in a program that has a start date that has not yet occurred. These students have an enrollment contract in place, but they have not started attending the program.
Active Accounts:
Accounts with an Active status indicate that the students associated with the account are enrolled and currently attending their program. Enrollment contracts with a start date of today or in the past are considered Active. An account will remain active until an enrollment End Date has been met.
Information on enrollment contracts is available in the article How to Create an Enrollment Contract.
Inactive Accounts:
An account with an inactive status indicates that the students associated with the account do not have an enrollment contract or their enrollment contract has ended. Inactive accounts may be hidden from the Accounts list using the Close Accounts feature.
