The Close Account feature is a label to hide unwanted inactive accounts from the Account List. The feature provides an additional filter to assist with searching and viewing the Families Account list. Directors may wish to close an account for students who have graduated from their center or for a family that has moved away.
The Billing Status filter in the Families Account list defaults to Open accounts, which automatically excludes Closed Accounts from your search. Adjust the Billing Status filter to Closed to view all Closed accounts.
Please note: Creating an active or future enrollment contract to the account will automatically update the Billing Status to open.
How to Close an Account:
- Select Families
- Select Accounts
- Select the Account you wish to close
- Select Billing
- Via the History tab, select the Close Account button
- Pending the account does not have any active or future enrollments, the account will close and be filtered out of the Accounts list.
