Business Units - Now Available
What's New
Business Units allow you to group multiple schools that share the same processor ID. When grouped, families enrolled across these schools receive one itemized bill covering all their enrollments across any number of schools within a billing period.
Why It Matters
This update addresses critical needs for businesses managing families across multiple schools. When families are enrolled in multiple schools that share a processor ID, they will now receive a single combined bill spanning all their schools, simplifying the payment experience. For financial teams, this means easier reconciliation of bank statements, as deposits will consolidate transactions across many schools into single bank items.
Additionally, payment reporting can now be viewed at the Business Unit level rather than requiring review of individual school reports, though line-item details such as tuition, charges, and credits will continue to be tracked by school to maintain granular visibility. Business Units can be configured flexibly on an individual school basis to support your organizational structure.

Class Activity Experience Enhancements - Now Available
What's New
Enhanced Filtering
We've added two new filters to help you find exactly what you're looking for:
- Space Filter – Filter care events by the location where they were performed
- Date Range Filter – Filter care events to a specific time period
Export Functionality
- You can now export filtered data directly from the Class Activity screen.
Key features:
- Export only the data you've filtered, no extra information you don't need
- Preview your export before downloading to confirm it includes what you expect
Why It Matters
These updates give you greater control over your data and make it easier to generate reports that meet specific requirements.
Looking Ahead
This new export capability will eventually replace the Name to Face report currently available in Business > Exports. The enhanced export goes beyond Name to Face reports, allowing schools to run reports on all care events as needed.
Program Creation & Class Linking Improvements - Now Available
We've made several improvements to the program creation workflow based on common user patterns we observed.
Program End Date Updates
We noticed users were creating programs with unintended durations due to pre-filled end dates. When creating a new program, the End Date field previously defaulted to one year from today, which often went unnoticed and resulted in week-long programs accidentally being configured as year-long programs.
Changes:
- The End Date field is no longer pre-filled and must be manually set
- The date picker now defaults to the same month as the Start Date for easier navigation
These changes should make program duration more explicit and reduce configuration errors.
Enrollment Type Fee Requirements
On the "Link to classes" page, we've simplified the fee selection process to match your chosen Enrollment Type:
- Drop In Only: Requires only a Casual Fee selection
- Permanent Only: Requires only a Permanent Fee selection
- Permanent & Drop In: Requires both Casual and Permanent Fee selections
We hope these improvements streamline your program setup experience. As always, we're monitoring usage patterns and welcome your feedback on these changes.
