NEW & EXPIRING Report Enhancement - Now Available
What's New
The NEW & EXPIRING report now includes a Re-enrollments section in the bottom table, providing insight into existing students who are starting new contracts.
What This Means
When a current student is scheduled to begin a new contract, their information will now display as a re-enrollment. This enhancement helps you easily track student transitions and program changes.
Use Cases
This update answers important operational questions such as:
- Who is moving to a new classroom next week?
- Who is starting summer camp in June? (including students who have previously attended your programs)
Payment Refunds - In BETA
Kangarootime now supports direct payment refunds, allowing you to quickly return funds to families using their original payment method.
Key Features
- Full or partial refunds – Refund the entire payment (including service fees) or a specific amount
- Automatic transaction logging – All refund details are recorded and visible on the History page and Payment record, including:
- Refund request date
- Total refund amount
- Payment method
- Refund status
- Processing user
- Refund reason
- Receipt generation – Download refund receipts as needed
- Invoice integration – Refund transactions automatically roll up into the next invoice or can be included in manual bills
Important Notes
- After processing a refund, the account's amount due will increase accordingly. Credits can then be applied to adjust the balance
- ACH payments have a six-day refund block from the original payment date to allow time for settlement before refunds can be processed
