Point of Care Overview

The Point of Care app is the central connection between staff and their relationship to the classroom. Point of Care allows staff to accurately and efficiently switch classes, move children from one class to another, move entire classes to different spaces (playground, other classrooms, etc.), record classroom activity, and more!

How Move a Child's Tile into a Class (Check-in)

1. Click or enter any classroom Overview. 

2. In the right column, all children are displayed, even those who are checked in. 

3. Drag and drop any child currently in your presence to the left column. 

How to Move a Staff Member into a Class

1. Log into the Point of Care app
2. Locate the staff member in the available column
3. Press your finger against the staff member's icon and drag the icon to the class the staff member is present 
4. When you have dragged the icon where it belongs, remove your finger from the screen and the staff member will be placed appropriately

How to Move a Child from One Class to Another

1. Select the Class the child is currently present
2. Select the child's tile
3. Select the move classroom icon 
4. Select the class the child will move to
5. Select Change Class

Once Change Class has been selected, the child will be moved into the selected class. 

OR

1. From the Center Overview Detailed Screen locate the child you would like to move
2. Double Tap the Child's icon 
3. Select the new class
4. Select the Change Class button

How to Move a Class to a Different Space

1. From the Overview view or the Detailed view, double-tap the class.
2. Once double-tapped, the option to select the space will appear, select the space where the entire class should be moved.
3. Select Move Class

How To Refresh Point of Care

Refreshing Point of Care via the Center Overview button allows the application to reload to give the user the most updated real-time activity and movement within classes. 

1. Expand the hamburger menu in the top left corner of your screen. 
2. Click Center Overview. 
3. The app is refreshed and reflects all actions and activities occurring in the classrooms across the center.

How to Record Classroom Activity (Notes, Potty, Nutrition, Naps, Exercise, Supplies, Photos) 

1. Select a Class from the  Center Overview Screen
2. Select the type of activity you would like to record from the options available (in the following order): 
   1. General Note
   2. Potty
   3. Nutrition
   4. Naps
   5. Exercise
   6. Supplies
   7. Gallery
   8. Photo
3. Select the time bar to adjust the time if applicable
4. Enter required fields and additional note text if appliable 
5. Select the child(ren) icons to log the note to child's activity feed 
6. Select the Save button
