Creating Future Enrollments for Aging Up & Out

Enrollments are easily managed and automated in Kangarootime, this ensures that as children age up into new classes and age groups the right enrollment, classroom, and fee automatically updates. To do this, future-dated enrollments must be created. To apply this automation to your enrollments please follow the steps below.

• End enrollments for children aging out of your programming

 Creating Future Enrollments

1. Select Families
2. Select Accounts
3. Click the account to edit
4. Select Enrollment 
5. Select Update Enrollment
6. Select I am creating a new enrollment and ending an existing one
7. Enter the End Date 
8. Select the Reason
9. Select Continue
10. Complete all required fields as indicated with an *
    • We recommend you put the start date as the day AFTER the current enrollment ends
11. Select Save

Ending Enrollments for Children Aging Out

1. Select Families
2. Select Accounts
3. Click the account to edit
4. Select Enrollment 
5. Select Update Enrollment
6. Select I am ending the existing contract with no replacements

7. Enter the End Date 

8. Select the Reason

9. Select Continue
