In Kangarootime, you can manage a series of business operations to configure your hours, pay weeks, and more. Follow the steps below to configure and update your operations settings.
To Configure Operations Settings:
- Click Configuration on the navigation menu
- Select Operations
- Utilize the various tabs on this page to configure your business settings:
- Business Hours - use this feature to set the hours that staff and families can be present at each location
- Pay Week - select the start date and end date of your pay week, which will impact the date range within an employee's time card
- Pay Codes - set specific codes for employee time off such as PTO, sick time, and more
- Time Log Locking - lock the time log feature on a certain date to avoid discrepancies when running payroll
- Scheduling Visibility - decide which roles at your center(s) can be added to the schedule
- Positions - create custom positions for employee title accuracy at your center(s)
