The KT Connect provides parents with several features that allow them to participate in their children's care. The user can view their child's activity notes and photos, manage their attendance, make payments, and message the center directly. This article aims to explain what student messaging is and how a parent can access it. Student Messaging is a feature that allows parents to send a direct message to the childcare professional who is currently looking after their child.

How to Send a New Message
- Log into your KT Connect app
- Navigate to the Messaging box
- Tap on the Student button
- Tap the View Messages box associated with the child you would like to send a message for
- Tap the + icon to create a new message
- Type the message into the text box
- Tap ADD
How to Acknowledge a Message
- Log into your KT Connect app
- Navigate to the Messaging box
- Tap on the Student button
- Tap the View Messages box associated with the child you want to view messages for
- You can either respond with a new message or tap Acknowledge*
* Tapping Acknowledge will notify the staff member
