After School by Kangarootime is a mobile app designed for staff who work directly with students in school-age programs. This includes team members in after-school care or LDC settings who are specifically responsible for tracking check-in and check-out times. The feature is ideal for programs that support car-line drop-offs or bus pick-up and drop-offs. Information entered in the app automatically syncs with the School Module, and report-ready attendance exports are available.

How to Configure Independent Check-in/Out Attendance
- Go to the School module
- Select the business name at the bottom of the Navigation menu
- Select Settings
- Select the Attendance tab
- Toggle Independent Check-in/Out to ON (button should slide to the right)
Once enabled, the Independent Check-in/Out Attendance feature will be active within an hour.
How to Check-in Students with the After School app
- Open and sign in to After School by Kangarootime app
- Select the Home Arrow button
- Select Check Students In/Out of School
- Select the student tile(s) you are checking in
- Select the green Check In button
How to Check-out Students with the After School app
- Open and sign/log in to After School by Kangarootime app
- Select the Home Arrow button
- Select Check Students In/Out of School
- Select the student tile(s) you are checking out
- Select the green Check Out button
