After School by Kangarootime is a mobile app designed for staff who work directly with students in school-age programs. This includes team members in before- and after-school care settings who are responsible for tracking attendance, managing student movement, and ensuring students are safely picked up at the end of the day. Information entered in the app automatically syncs with the School Module, and report-ready exports are available as well.

How to Join a Class or Group
- Open the After School app
- Select the Class, Program, or Group you wish to join
- Select Add Staff to Room
- Select Join Class
How to Add Staff to a Class or Group
- Open the After School app
- Select the Class, Program, or Group to which you are adding staff
- Select the blue circle Staff icon
- Select + Add Staff
How to Mark Students In Care
- Open the After School app
- Select the Class, Program, or Group to which you are adding a student

- Select + Start Care of Students

How to Create Groups and Set a Group's Location
- Open the After School app
- Select the Home arrow button
- Select +Create Group
- Tap the Select Students button
- Select the Student name tiles
- Select the green Add button
- Select the Location button
- Select the Space or Location
- Select the green Create button
How to Accept Students into your Class, Program, or Group
- Open the After School app
- Select the Class, Program, or Group
- Select the Receiving Student button
- Select the student name tile
- Select the green Submit button
How to Move Individual Students
- Open the After School app
- Select the Class, Program, or Group
- Select the Home arrow button
- Select the student name tile
- Select Next
- Select Location
- Select Finish
How to Mark Students In Care (Name-to-Face)
- Open the After School app
- Select the Class, Program, or Group of the students in your care
- Home arrow button
- Select the +Confirm Care button
- Select the Student name tiles
- Select the green Submit button
