Care Checks, also called Name to Face, are performed by teachers to visually acknowledge that all students they are responsible for are present and accounted for at any given point in time. The action of performing Care Checks is done in Point of Care.
How This Can Be Helpful For Centers:
- Reporting and Tracking. Some state licensing agencies require Care Checks be completed throughout the day. If requested, a center can provide proof that the Care Checks have been completed. Care Checks can also aid in providing details on a specific child's whereabouts at a specific date and time.
- Accountability. The ability to view and report Care Checks also allows directors to monitor that their teachers are performing mandatory Care Checks.
