In Kangarootime's School Module, Administrators have the option to view, download, and print student activity notes that are logged by Teachers in the Point of Care app. Notes can be printed from the current day or any day in the past when care was provided.
Why This Matters:
- Parent Communication. Administrators may receive phone calls or emails from parents during the day, and as a result, they will need to direct access to activity from the classroom.
- Awareness of Potential Issues. By keeping an eye on the activity logs, Administrators can stay aware of any issues with child behavior or illness that might need to be communicated to families.
- Track Child Progress. These activity notes will paint a picture of a child's development and progress at the center, which can be used for tracking milestones and decisions around classroom placement.
How To View and Print Student Activity Notes:
- In Kangarootime, head to your Black Navigation Bar and select the School Module, which is the second icon down from the top.
- Within your School Module, select Students
- Select the child you're looking to view and print notes for (you can search for the child, or, you can find the child from their class within the Classes tab)
- Adjust the date of the note if you are looking for a past date. From this window, you can view the child's notes from the most recent to the earliest note that day.
- To print this note, select the Print icon at the top righthand side of their activity note window
