The Kangarootime–Intellikid Systems integration is designed to reduce double data entry and ensure your records remain consistent across both platforms. With this integration, you can:
- Keep Child, Contact, and Family information in sync between Kangarootime and Intellikid Systems.
- Maintain up-to-date enrollment statuses so that changes in one system reflect in the other.

🔁 How Information Flows
Information flows in both directions between Intellikid Systems and Kangarootime:

People & Family Info: Primarily flows from Intellikid Systems → Kangarootime. This ensures your operational system always reflects the most current admissions data.

Enrollment Status: Intellikid Systems' custom statuses are mapped to standard statuses in Kangarootime. These mappings allow both systems to interpret the enrollment stage of each family.
⚙️ How to Set It Up
Setting up the integration is straightforward. The Kangarootime and Intellikid Systems APIs transfer data on a 24hr schedule. All you need is the Kangarootime API Key and a short configuration process in Intellikid Systems.
1. Generate Your Kangarootime API Key
You’ll need an API key from Kangarootime to enable communication between the systems. Contact your Kangarootime representative or access your business settings to retrieve your API key.
2. Enter the API Key in Intellikid Systems
To enable the integration, you’ll need to provide your Kangarootime API key to Intellikid Systems. This key allows their system to securely connect and sync data with your Kangarootime account.

3. Map Your Enrollment Statuses
Because enrollment statuses may differ between systems, you’ll be prompted to map your custom statuses in Intellikid Systems to Kangarootime’s standard statuses:
