The Kinder Connect integration helps match child records between Kangarootime and Kinder Connect by comparing names and birth dates. When matches have been found, Kangarootime will then, on a weekly basis, send check-in and check-out times to Kinder Connect, making the process seamless for you!
To get ready for this integration, you will need to send the Kinder Connect provider code(s) and group code(s) to your Kangarootime representative. We recommend these codes are sent to us via secure email.
Also, please take a moment to review the data in both Kinder Connect and Kangarootime, ensuring everything is accurate and up to date. Here’s what to check:
- All child names must match between Kinder Connect and Kangarootime (spelling and casing)
- All birthdates must match between Kinder Connect and Kangarootime
Once the integration is configured:
- All check in and out times will be sent to Kinder Connect from the previous week. It is imperative that all corrections are made by the end of the day on Saturday as times will be sent on Sunday morning
- All absences must be recorded in Kangarootime if you wish for the absence record to be represented in Kinder Connect. If child is not marked absent but does not attend, the integration will not send any times but the record will not be recorded as an absence
You will also be provided with a weekly digest that will display successful and failed records from the most recent data push to Kinder Connect. Please note that this integration will only send check in or check out times and has no interaction with Kinder Connect/subsidy payments.
Please contact helpdesk@kangarootime.com or your Kangarootime representative if you have any questions!
