Updates are from all across the board this week!
Fixes
The Child Contracts report was occasionally resulting in an error if it contained a large number of rows. The performance on this report has been improved and it should now run smoothly regardless of file size!
We’ve also made adjustments to the Lead Management screen for staff and enrollment/re-enrollment forms for parents/guardians. Now, you should see much faster loading times! We have also addressed an issue in the lead management space where new inquiries were appearing on the waitlist even if there was available enrollment. With these new improvements it will be smooth sailing going forward!
There have been several other fixes in the enrollment space to help improve clarity and performance.
Improvements
Point of Care v. 1.1.45 is released and available, and contains new, more clear error messages when using our bulk attendance feature. We've also changed the classroom view to sort students by last name.
On the enrollment form, we’ve made it much clearer for families that their enrollment is not complete until they've finished it in it's entirety and the center has finalized all the necessary steps on their end. This should help reduce parent confusion throughout this process.
For folks using Account Messaging, we have made it so that account messages can be sent back and forth regardless of account status (previously this was only available for active accounts). This means that you can contact people more easily before their child's contract starts or in between contracts.
When you are viewing a specific photo in the Gallery on the web portal, you will now find a handy little download button, making it easier to share that photo with your marketing team or other interested parties.
New Features
Summary View - Grouped Subsidies
You now have the option to select if they want your estimated subsidy credits grouped into the session cost on a summary view of their itemized bills. This means that instead of having two line items, the tuition charge and subsidy credit, you will just see the value of the subsidized tuition.
This option will not affect bills retroactively and must be selected before the next cycle if you want it to display this way on your next bills. It can be found under Billing > Settings > Itemized Bills, select the centers that want to use this new view and use the "Assign Itemized Bill View" drop down!
Meal Tracking Report
If you head over to Analytics > Exports, you’ll find a new report - Meal Tracking! This report provides a summary of student attendance counts for comparison to the counts of students receiving meals that are free, reduced, or paid. This gives you the ability to quickly report on the data you need if you participated in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). Meal status settings can be found under Families > Children > Select a child, in the meal section. From here you can choose which meal type children are eligible for at your center.
Note: Sometimes the features in our release notes are not visible to everyone. If you want to learn more or if you don’t see some of the above features but believe you should, please reach out to your KT contact personally or to the KT team.
