The Bulletin Board feature is a communication channel for center administrators to communicate with classroom staff. Using Kangarootime’s web desktop and Point of Care applications, staff and administrators may send messages to one another in an open channel format. Messages may include Mentions for additional clarity. See Bulletin Board Feature Overview for additional information.
How to view Bulletin Board Messages in Point of Care
- Sign in to the Point of Care App
- Select the Message icon located in the above purple ribbon area
- All Messages will display in a side pop-up window
- Tap the My Messages button to view messages that mention the logged-in staff member/classroom
How to send a Bulletin Board Communication in Point of Care
- Sign in to the Point of Care App
- Select the Message icon located in the above purple ribbon area
- Select the Post a Message text box
- Select the Target Message button to Mention a staff member or classroom (optional)
- Type a message in the text box
- Select the Post Message arrow icon
How to Respond to a Bulletin Board Communication in Point of Care
- Sign in to the Point of Care App
- Select the Message icon located in the above purple ribbon area
- All Messages will display in a side pop-up window
- Select the Reply button located below the message
- Type a message in the lower text box
- Select the Target Message button to Mention a staff member or classroom (optional)
- Select the Post Message arrow icon
Please note: Engagement Bulletin Boards are a communication channel open to all staff using the Point of Care App. Messages sent through the channel may be seen by all staff logged into Point of Care.
