This time we've got new releases for Point of Care and KT Connect, and an update to exports!
Fixes
Point of Care v. 1.1.23 is hot off the presses and comes with a bundle of bug fixes! Firstly, children who were not checked out on the previous day will no longer persist as checked in for the next day. We also fixed some issues with deleting notes (button display and syncing issues). And we also have made sure that staff presence in the app now properly matches their status.
We also have had a rather persistent bug on the Configuration > Roles and Permissions > Permissions page where our permissions just really, really wanted to show up two or three times each. That is now a thing of the past!
Improvements
KT Connect v. 2.5.0 has hit the app stores! In it you will see two pretty exciting improvements. The first is that we've made some (boring, technical) fixes in the background that have made the app run faster, most notably in the loading of pictures in the gallery and activity feed - but across the whole app as well. The second is around the settings page, which you can find by tapping the menu in the upper left and selecting settings. This new settings page hides some stuff that you didn't need to see (like our dev mode toggle), removes the need for actually tapping on a save button (changes are saved as you make them), and - most importantly - adds a section where you can easily see what permissions KT Connect has access to and what it still needs, allowing you to more effectively troubleshoot situations like when your parents can't open your Kisi locks.
In reporting news, many of our exports are now exportable as Excel files instead of CSV! Y'all will love the cleaner appearance and formatting and being able to filter and sort within the click of a button. In short, the tables will look and function like... well, like tables are supposed to in Excel! Note that the report information that used to appear at the top of the CSV files now appears on a second tab/sheet within the Excel file. Don't worry though - where CSV reports are required for other purposes, those have remain intact - for example, all integration, QKFS, and Payrix reports.
Note: Sometimes the features in our release notes are not visible to everyone. If you want to learn more or if you don’t see some of the above features but believe you should, please reach out to your KT contact personally or to the KT team.
