This article details how to build the number of days fee structure in Kangarootime. This fee structure will suit centers that bill different amounts based on how often a child attends.
How To Create a Number of Days Fee using the Session Fee Type
- From the home page, click Centers
- Select Fees
- Click the +Add Fee button (in the top right corner)
- When filling out the New Fee form, under Fee Structure, click Number of Days
-
After entering the Start and End Time for the fee, when filling out the cost, enter the specific fee to be charged per how many days the child will attend. See examples below:
- If a child is scheduled to only attend one (1) day per week at the rate of $80 per day on a weekly billing cycle, enter 80 under the Cost and 1 under Days - this will charge the account $80 per week.
- If a child is scheduled to attend two (2) days per week at the rate of $75 per day on a weekly billing cycle, enter 75 under Cost and 2 under Days - this will charge the account $150 per week.
- If a child is scheduled to attend three (3) days per week at the rate of $70 per day on a weekly billing cycle, enter 80 under Cost and 3 under Days - this will charge the account $210 per week.
- If a child is scheduled to attend four (4) days per week at the rate of $65 per day on a weekly billing cycle, enter 65 under Cost and 4 under Days - this will charge the account $260 per week.
- If a child is scheduled to attend five (5) days per week at the rate of $60 per day on a weekly billing cycle, enter 60 under Cost and 5 under Days - this will charge the account $300 per week.
- Once the above has been entered and all necessary/required fields have been satisfied, click Save
Once the fee has been created, it will be available when creating new enrollment contracts for the classes specified within the fee.
