Contacts are defined as primary and secondary within Kangarootime. Primary Contacts are established when the child joins the center and his/her Account is created. Primary Contacts are typically caregivers such as parents, foster parents, grandparents, etc. Secondary Contacts may include but are not limited to Aunts, Uncles, Friends of the Family, etc.

How to add multiple Primary Contacts to Child
- Select Families from the navigation menu
- Select Accounts
- Select the account from the list of Accounts. This will open the account profile.
- Select Contacts.
- Click + Add Primary Contact
- Complete the mandatory fields (indicated with an *)
- Select Save
*Please note that Primary Contacts can only be added at the Accounts page.
How to add Secondary Contacts to Child from Accounts tab
- Select Families from the navigation menu
- Select Accounts
- Select the account from the list of Accounts. This will open the account profile.
- Select Contacts.
- Click + Add Contact
- Complete the mandatory fields (indicated with an *)
- Select Relationships and Permissions to the child
- Select Save
How to add Secondary Contacts to Child from Children tab
- Select Families from the navigation menu
- Select Children
- Select the child's name from the list of Children. This will open the child's profile.
- Select Contacts.
- Click + Add Contact
- Complete the mandatory fields (indicated with an *)
- Select Account Permissions
- Select Save
